So today my best friend and roommate did this barrel rolling thing to my hair. Whatever it's called. Anyways, it turned out pretty sweet, so here is a cute picture of us.

And may I just say that it is freezing here? I mean it hasn't gotten THAT bad... but for the love! When I say that that I love the cold weather, I mean that I like the cold weather in SACRAMENTO. Where the coldest it get's is 50 degrees. That's human weather.

So Hilary and I are learning this new clogging dance in our clogging class by Gary Larsen. It's a partner dance. And yes, thank you for asking, I am the boy. But we have so much fun with it. We always wink at each other and are cracking up the whole time. He's always laughing at us. Oh Gary! It's ok though cause we rule to the class. Nbd.

So here is a video of Hilary, myself, and two other girls clogging this fun dance that Gary taught us. This was our "test." Watch it! It's sweet.

If this doesn't work, I'm sorry. It's on my facebook.

Rulin the school.

I guess it's been a while since i've updated you on my life. What's new? Well, I'm at BYUI! It's pretty exciting :) i've only been here about two weeks and I just love it. All the people are awesome, my teachers are awesome (except for my voice teacher. i think she has a problem), and i love all my roommates. I totally lucked out there! I could have had one of those roommates that eats dirt or something. Actually... that would have been very entertaining..
There are also many attractive men here. THA TS for sure. One cool thing about this school is that everyone says hi to each other, even if you have no idea who they are. It's pretty funny. The other day me and Hilary were walking to our friends apartment and these guys pulled over on the street and were like "Hey girls! Can we give you a ride somewhere?" Which we sadly declined since we were about ten steps away from where we going. But needless to say, me and hilary felt pretty good about ourselves.

Like I said, my roommates are way cool. I'm glad that the first few weeks are over with because that's when you're still getting to know them all. I'm glad that they all accept my weird personality. But its not my fault, I'm just naturally a crazy person. I enjoy busting through the front door and shouting "HEY-OO!!" Haha. One thing I do not like is when your roommates eat your freaking food. The other day one of my roommates (I wont mention any names..) ate my left over rice. Excuse me? Did i say that you could eat that? No, no i did not. How about I go and eat all your food? HOW WOULD YOU LIKE THAT? Geez.

Well, things are just awesome and I'm very glad to be here. I miss all my sisters and my parents and my california friends, but it's such a blast here. Oh.. and p.s. I'm freaking ward choir director. Stop laughing. Now. Both my mom and jill were like, "haha! It's your punishment for not going to your own ward choir with Dad!" Huh. I'll show you. I'll be the best choir director ever! People will be bawling their eyes out in sacrament meeting cause it will sound so DANG GOOD. I was actually supposed to be music director. But... we won't get into that.

Well, thats all for now. I'll try to keep you updated. Tell you if i meet any hopefuls.

Expressing Our Feelings

This happened about a week ago buts it's still worth telling all about. Jill, Ellen, Danielle and myself were wondering what we should do on a friday night. Suddenly Danielle comes up with the "brilliant beyond brillant plan (anyone?)" to buy some paper and finger paint and make a mural of our feelings. So we head on over to our local Wal-mart and buy ourselves some paper and finger paint. And also some ice cream but that was extra on my part. We lay the paper out on our porch, put some Lenka on to reach deep into our souls, and dove into our deepest feelings. Please take a good look at our work of art. Each soul is posing by their part of the master piece. Enjoy.

It should go into a museum right??

Myself.
Danielle.
Jill.
Ellen.
All.

Bicycle Extravaganza

So Saturday night Ellen, Jill, Danielle, Andrea and myself were all hanging out. We decided we wanted to go on a bike ride. Then Ellen say's "If we go on a bike ride we have to dress up crazy!" I was like whatever I just want to ride my bike... so we all dressed up super crazy and went on a stellar bike ride. Check out the amazing pictures we took.... and check out the panda sweater im wearing.. and Jills spandex.

Don't mind Jill....

Danielle. Love her...

Star-crossed lovers= Ellen and me.

Hey-oo Danielle!!

The Rodeo

Well last Saturday I went to the Rodeo for the first time.  And let me tell you, I think i spent more time feeling sorry for the animals than i actually enjoyed myself.  Call me crazy, but I care more about the horses and the bulls and the sheep getting tackled than I do about the people falling off.  And not to mention, there was a toootally creepy clown.  I hate clowns.  He wasn't funny.  I had fun with all the people I was with though.  I've met some really awesome people whilst my stay here in the lovely town of provo.  Afterwards we went to Denny's (I was starving!!) and I had a delicious egg and ham sandwich, with some fries that weren't so great.  And of course they took their sweet time bringing out our food, even though we were just about the only people there. So in conclusion, I wont be going to the rodeo any time soon.  And I am NOT a hippie.  I just like horses.

But... being at the Rodeo brought me back to my good old Black Beauty and Man From Snowy River days.  I would watch those movies religiously.  And my sisters made fun of me.  And they still do.  Laugh all you want sisters, but you know deep down inside you were happy when i put those movies on because you secretly wanted to watch them too.  I mean, who doesn't love a little horse action?  Uh-huh...

Yesss!!

First Ever

Hey-o!!  I saw that my Elle got a blog so figured i should get one too!  Plus, you know, I am in college now.  I am currently residing at BYU for the summer.  Then i will go home for three weeks and then go to BYU Idaho with my best friend Hilary Hogge!  I'm really excited for it.  I'm going to try out for the Folk/Clogging Dance team in Idaho.  I think it's the closest I'll get to the REAL thing. If you know what I mean.  I don't know what I'm going to major in just yet, but I am leaning towards Criminal Justice/Psychology.  Which they don't have at either BYU's but whatever.  I'll deal.  I would love to go on Broadway, but that's a bit of a long shot.  *cough* mom.

Just in this past week, I have become quite obsessed with the TV series "Bones".  Ellen so graciously introduced it to me, and oh how i am so glad that she did!  It's basically the best show ever.  It's about this Scientific Forensic work group that teams up with the FBI to solve crimes.  So, its basically a two in one!  And not to mention, their are mighty fine men in it.  My personal favorite, is Zach Addy.  He is the biggest nerd in the world, and is way hot.  Check him..

I know right?  Don't fall out of your chairs.  Booth is another guy that is also hot, but I like Zach better.

This is the Forensic team, plus Booth.  There's booth in the middle.  And there's Zach next to him;)  The super stud.  Sure, Booth is an FBI agent that carries around a gun, but Zach is a freaking genius who knows everything.  I rest my case.

Well that's all for now.  I'll keep you all posted on my invigorating life!  Don't forget to watch Bones!  The 5th season starts in September!
